Saving energy in sewer pumping systems
It's pretty simple to save on energy consumption in waste water pumping stations. By applying frequency converters pumps are driven at full speed at start and stop in order to flush the sewer pipes. During normal operation pumps can be controlled at 60%.
The energy savings can be as high as 30%.
More energy savings are possible by collecting additional measurement data from the sewer system and convert this into smart central pump control. Ask us for practical examples.
