Monitoring water quality at sea locks
Rotterdam is a port city with many locks that allow shipping traffic.
Problem
At passing ships, salty seawater mixes with fresh water from the waterway. Entering salty water should be minimized.
Solution
Sensors are installed at the sea locks. The sensors are connected via TC302’s to the TeleControlNet server for registration and alarming high salt concentrations.
