Data pattern recognition
If sewage systems are overloaded, sewage water can overflow to surface water. Authorities want to know when this happens and how much sewage water is dumped. If the water level rises above overflow level, TeleControlNet starts to calculate the overflow volume on bases of the measured sewage water level. The calculation starts at the overflow level that is usually indicated by a float switch. The problem is that the float switch is often polluted and for that reason stuck, so it does not signal an overflow situation.
The float switch becomes redundant by analysing the measured data pattern of the sewage water level trends. With advanced data processing TeleControlNet detects a kink in the trend at the overflow level and signals overflow by software signal (this method has been patented by Inter Act).
